About woordENzin

Words and sentences – the foundation of language.

This platform helps you learn Dutch words and sentences in a simple and accessible way: practical exercises, clear theory, and audio materials.

1

Vocabulary Acquisition

MZI (Multi-contextual Zoning Immersion) is our name for how the course is built: new words are always met inside whole sentences, and an exercise you get wrong twice is scheduled to come back later.

Sentence Audio

Most exercises come with a recording of the whole sentence. It plays once you answer correctly, and a replay button keeps it at hand — or you can switch the voice-over off in your profile.

Scheduled Re-check

An exercise you got wrong twice comes back after a pause — and again, until you have confirmed it several times. How much this adds to long-term retention we are still measuring.
